Connie Nahoolewa, Executive Director
Connie Nahoolewa has led NICA for over 16 years. She attained her Bachelors and Masters Degree of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. She loves to live her life to the fullest and, more importantly, serve NICA in her greatest capacity.
Esteban Detres, Marketing & Communications Manager
Esteban has worked for NICA since December of 2016. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Communication and is passionate for the non-profit sector as well as a heart for people. Esteban’s mission is to help NICA’s presence grow in Fort Worth.
Pat Hearn, Financial Manager & Volunteer Coordinator
Pat has worked for NICA for almost since 2015. She has an Associate’s of Arts in Business from Durham Business College. Pat handles all the finances here at NICA and is very meticulous in making sure all of our T’s are crossed and I’s dotted. She is an avid Bridge player and plays regularly. She is adventurous and has a young heart. Pat absolutely loves to help people and loves her job just as much.
Betty Ortiz, Social Service Coordinator
Betty has worked for NICA since 2011. She is Coordinator of Social Services as well as the Good Works program. Her duties also include coordinating all holiday events and our Back-2-School program for the kids every September. She is a passionate animal advocate and loves her job here at NICA.
Myrtis Ross, Education Coordinator
Myrtis has been with NICA for since January 2016. She began as a Social Worker for our Agency. She is now our Education Coordinator. She attended the University of North Texas where she grew her passions for Non-profit. Myrtis loves attending her local church and helping to coordinate events for her congregation.
