Connie Nahoolewa, Executive Director
Connie Nahoolewa has led NICA for over 16 years. She attained her Bachelors and Masters Degree of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. She loves to live her life to the fullest and, more importantly, serve NICA in her greatest capacity.
Esteban Detres, Marketing & Communications Manager
Esteban has worked for NICA since December of 2016. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Communication and finds his passion in the non-profit sector as well as having a heart for people.
Pat Hearn, Financial Manager & Volunteer Coordinator
Pat has worked for NICA for almost since 2015. She has an Associate’s of Arts in Business from Durham Business College. She handles the finances here at NICA and is meticulous in making sure all “T’s are crossed and I’s are dotted”. She is an avid and regular Bridge player and holds an adventurous and young heart. Pat loves to help others and loves her job just as much.
Betty Ortiz, Social Service Coordinator
Betty has worked for NICA since 2011 and is currently the Coordinator of Social Services and the Good Works program. She also coordinates all holiday events and our annual Back-2-School program.
Myrtis Ross, Education Coordinator
Myrtis began her career with NICA in January of 2016 as a Social Worker and now works as our Education Coordinator. She attended the University of North Texas where she found her passion for non-profit. Myrtis loves attending her local church and helping coordinate events for her congregation.
